A Playlist and a Story

“Life is an occasion, so rise to it…” Its funny that one of my favorite quotes comes from a movie involving a magical toy store. But none the less, this quote is still one of my favorites. These songs represent some aspect of my life. Whether they remind me of friends, certain moments or just of how I felt at one point, they all have had an impact on my life. Some of the songs remind me of my friends and the good times we have had, creating wonderful memories and smiles.

When you love music, it can give you butterflies. Some of these songs have done so for me and made me realize that I love it. I have spent a lot of time thinking about what I’m meant to be or do, and these songs, along with many many others, and more to come, have helped me to realize that I have a passion for music. A passion that could point to what I’m meant to do or help me find who I’m meant to be. These songs help me to think about life and how I can rise to it. I hope everyone out there finds something to inspire them to rise to the occasion that is their lives. So these songs represent that hope I have for others and that passion that I have found within myself.

I am 23 years old, about to be 24. I am student in San Francisco and am originally from Southern California. I like to go home when I can because although school is here and work and basic life pertaining to my future, my life is back in Southern California. I’m trying to adjust and take advantage of what I can here. Learn as much as I can, experience as much as I can and try to have fun along the way. Some basic things about me are: I love food, my favorite food is Mexican food. But technically it would have to be cereal. I’m totally that person who has to have a bowl of cereal before going to bed. I love the small things in life, friends, family and those small moments where you laugh really hard or your face hurts from laughing so much. The moments where you know that you are in good company and will always look back on it and smile. In general, I don’t have blog, but I have a facebook along with linkedin. I guess that is all I can think of to say about myself for right now. Except for that I love music and love finding new artists and hearing new songs.
