Summer has almost arrived here in Chicago, marked by the arrival of Metromix’s infamous “Festival Guide”.
It is really amazing what better weather can do to improve the spirits of an entire city. I come from a town where 75 and sunny is the norm, and while there is absolutely something to be said for that, there is something powerful about an entire city shouting “finally!” at the top of their lungs and running to frolic outside.
It’s going to be 80 degrees and sunny this weekend, and while I’ll be at my cousins college graduation from Connecticut College, please use this playlist to enjoy the weather.
